The Bel Vector 990 is an INTERNATIONAL radar detector. Not only does it detect the radar frequencies used by police in North America, it will detect all frequencies in use throughout the world! The Bel Vector 990 includes all other top of the line Vector features, including 16 driver selectable features and an aluminum travel case.
The Bel Vector 990 features an alpha-numeric text display which provides an easy-to-read description of the band detected. The Vector 990 will provide 64 different real voice messages, this includes specific voice alerts for each type of SWS™ message. Eleven features are driver selectable. The Bel Vector 990 provides the superior detecting ability only found in Bel's high performance Vector line of radar detectors.
The Bel Vector 990 responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, and provides 360 degree detection of all types of laser guns laser. The Bel Vector 990 is immune to the VG-2 detector, and provides alerts when VG-2 is in use.
