Default This is why I love my love my V1...

I get near my work and I pick up a extra K band threat then normal and a split second later I get a Ka band alert. I'm saying WTF? I usually just get 1 k band bogey pointing at the car stealership and I'm getting these extra threats. As Im driving and pull into my work parking lot lord and behold I see a WSP (running Ka) and a Pierce County Deputy (running k band) and they are radaring both lanes of traffic going in oppisite directions. I'm really glad I have the V1 and you have to love those. For those who say you dont need the arrows..they have never owned a V1.

TIP #1:

Remember that a false radar alert is one in which an RD alerts to radar when in reality there is no radar source. An alert that is triggered by a source other then by a LEO or officer is called a non-threat radar alert. Keep Learning!

Gotta admit too, the directional arrows take out the guess work

Teh arr0wZ pwn j00!!!

Probably should mention the bogey counter too, as a recent save of mine suggests. I had gotten into the habit of ignoring K band on a particular location along my daily commute. As I neared the location where I always get a false K, the bogey counter alerted me to a second K band threat. Low and behold a 1/4 mile down the road there was a local cop sitting under an overpass running K band radar.

True, 'nother good point on the bogey deal.

Same thing. I pass a Food Lion every time going and coming from work. On cue V1 will forward face arrow, alert on one or two on the ramp up scale and show me 3 bogies (2 X and one K).

One afternoon like business as normal, I got a 5 bogey dealie and sure 'nuff, there was NCHP just sittin off the right side in front of the furniture store before the Food Lion near the hwy. I expected the 2 X and 1 K (all the flashin between band and arrows) but the Ka flashing and the arrow started flashing when the Ka locked, I knew somethin was up.

V1.. give's ya all the information!

yep!!!

Tell me about it.

One time i got Ka from one highway patrol and anyway that alert started fading away and as we were approaching an overpass and off ramp he turned away. However, all of the sudden bogey counter does it "do doo" and within a few seconds or so I see a moto highway patrol shooting an instant on Stalker II. Normally I would have just thought it was the same alert but the V1 let me know there was a second signal. Awww, the beauty of the bogey counter.

Good thing for the V1

It gives you ALL the information each time.
