Default Reflection off hood

My car (avatar) is machine silver metallic and i keep it highly buffed.

I've read that this is the worst for getting nailed by laser, true?

Also, is the V1 being affected by the shine of the hood?

I would say it has a little impact...but not much. Obviously laser works off bouncing a beam off an object (reflection) and sends it back to the machine... when cops are trying to hit you with laser they are 9 times out of 10 going to aim for your plate or your headlights as these have the greatest reflection....now an old car with old paint with hardly any reflection and is dark would be the best option...but it would make very little impact on your car...some...but not alot.

Two words, as you need a radar jammer as well as your V-1

Laser Interceptor

2 words back... well actually several words.

First, I live in California where both radar jammers and laser jammers are illegal and often the result of having your car impounded and a stiff fine. I've seen it happen.

Secondly, the Laser Interceptor website doesn't seem to be selling their product yet.

This is quite old but it looks as if the Vette has the smallest radar signature. I think this test was with K band only.

Good to know. And here I thought the only thing in my favor was, if they did tag me at least they couldn't catch me

ha ha ha ha... I fit between the Dodge Power wagon and the tractor trailer...

My radar signature is the size of a bloated walrus... and I'm sure I'm laser meat with all the front area I've got as well....

I support our troops!!
