![]() | Is it safe to put the V1 in Logic or Advanced Logic mode as opposed to All Bogeys mode? I know the computer is supposed to be really smart but I don't know if I should trust it when I'm flying down the highway above the posted speeds limits. I wouldn't want to have it in Advanced Logic mode and have it dismiss a cop's radar because the computer believes it to be not important.

![]() | From what I have read and seen on the net is if you are in the *open* road where there are less or no chances of falses just have it in *A* mode and *Advance Logice* and *logic* mode are for areas where you would like you V1 to be quieter but still detect and alert at a certain thresh hold. I leave mine in *All* Mode unless I drive in Seattle and area's like that to have it quieter.

Also, it seems that A mode allows better sensitivity according to some test done by some enthusiasts.

![]() | Little l and big L only affect X band sensitivity, so there isn't a problem running the detector in big L mode all the time to have a quieter detector. If you look at the tests the V1's X band picks up about twice as far as the Belscorts so even with sensitivity crippled in Big L you should have about the same range as other detectors.

![]() | I use the old school boxey V1 from 98'. I keep it in all bogeys all the time. I would rather filter the information the unit gives off myself. All the noise the unit gives off pisses off the wife so that's a plus too

![]() | And that's how Zombies are created - the constant blathering in the A mode will drive you crazy and into a zombie state to shut out the noise
