Default I bought a use Valentine, and really like it alot Radar Detector Reviews

My question goes like this.Mind has the Euro mode and the vers. is 3.815.When I put in my serial number to Valentine, they say I have the latest vers. When I call them up,they said to update it, and check it out, would be 85.00 or the just check it out would be 45.00 for checking the range. It is very good shape and I payed 350.00 and that was including shipping. What would you do.This was my first one,and just sold my 8500x50 after I bought V1 to compare the two with .Now would you just leave it alone, are send it in for check up,and is it that important to have it updated as well.THX Alot!

well as long as its not reported stolen, I would say upgrade it... cause you dont know how the last person stored it... if it was left in the sun or what not... these things can greatly effect the range of a radar detector.

Default I can't believe you all act like this

First of all,the guy who said that I should have kept the 8500x50 ,is on the wrong forum.
The guy who said that I paid too much,You are wrong to telling people you payed too much.
The guy who said that I would go and have check out, that was the opinion I was looking for,at lease you did try to help me.THX

Sorry etap, but as a paying member which I see you probably arent, I read all forums and reply to whatever I want. Replys are just opinions.
Calm down and learn to take a joke. I have owned Whistler, Bel, V1, Escort, and Fuzzbuster so I have some idea what I'm talking about.
