Should I send in My Valentine One V1 vers. 3.851

I just got my V1 ,and really like it alot.I called Valentine they said it was up to date,with the latest chip.Now my vers is 3.851 and the new vers. or 3.863.and they also said if I sent it in,they would update it for $85.00 or test it for $45.00.I really would like to have it checked,but it is still better than my 8500 x50 and my bel 960. So would it be worth to have all of that done.I hate to keep putting more money in it,but that is what happens when you buy used.THX Agian I like my V1

The difference between the 3.858 version of the valentine one radar and the latest version the Valentine One 3.863 is:
The upgrade from .858 to .863 was the result of some hardware changes due to changes in parts vendors there is no performance differences between .858 and .863.

I am assuming .851 had no performance upgrades, all hardware changes

from .851 to .863 they changed from analog temperature compensation to digital temperature compensation. There should not be any performance differences.

Sure, when will that ever happen--Im not holding my breath, but I would love to see a MAJOR break through or improvement from Mike and Co.

right now...i think they have done very good and seem to think of nothing else.
