Thumbs up Valentine One Radar Detector Info

We need a good sticky explaining how to set up a V1, and it needs to be much, much better than V1's sight. (l,L,A,a...) doesn’t make any logical sense unlike H,C,A.

Something pretty detailed and simple. The V1 has some pretty awesome features but they need to be explained better.

I would do it but im not going to get another V1 till they are completely stealth.

You mean something like this:

Ask Mike - Report #3

I think that a part of the issue (I don't think it's a "problem," per-se), is that the V1 is just such an "instrument of war" that its optimization is beyond just selecting from one of three simple operational modes. I truly believe that to be able to extract the most out of the V1, its owner/user not only has to be intimately familiar with the instrument (in order to optimize the detailed settings of the advanced programming protocol), but that he/she must also be highly proactive as well as very experienced in being able to serve as the final filter for the incoming threat information, in order to not only discern "true" from "false," but to also assess how best to respond to each potential threat.

This is NOT to say that I think that the Bel/Escort (or other) products are for novice, inexperienced, or ignorant/stupid users - but rather that I believe that each detector has a use and a scenario for which it best fits, and that no-one can say, simply, that one or the other is "best," without considering precisely just those differences in scenario as well as the unique end-user's personal preferences and goals.
