Default Valentine One vs Bel STI -- Multanova test

In a multanova test which detector owns the other? Find out.

Yeah thats Jeremy from Delonix., Plus the V1 is mounted higher than the STi-R so it will naturally get longer range. But V1 will always alert earlier.

Ive been running V1 and STi and sometimes the STi and V1 go at the same time and other times the V1 is 20 seconds ahead of the STi

Actually Jason, they are mounted at the same height...unless you're talking mm in difference, but I'm sure you're not, because you of all people would know that mm would make no difference.

And FTR the STi-R alerted earlier than the V1 on average. When we mounted the STi-R antenna vertical the range was phenomenal - over 200m with the camera facing away on the opposite side of a dual carriage way.

You'd have to watch all the videos to see the tests one after the other with the STi, the STi-R and the V1. One day when I have time I'll write up the test results but short answer is mounting a STi-R vertically with Ka-narrow ON gives greater warning on Multanova 6F speed cameras than any other radar detector I've ever tested.

Id like to see the difference with the antenna mounted on the engine bay where it is ment to..actually i have a STi r here for this weekends tests so we will see.

How did ya go with the LTI?? doesnt seem to be here, tests in 12 hours

We did that test (four runs) with a V1 remote. On two of those four runs, the grill mount gave the same warning as mounting low on the windscreen. But the other two runs gave 30% less warning. We feel reflection plays a larger role in the detection range when mounted in the grill.

Grill mount:
Low on windscreen:
High on windscreen:
