DE-1788 and Pro68

Well, received my new DE-1788 (because wife wanted a cordless) and my Pro 68 Whistlers. First time I put the DE-1788 on, I picked up a cop on the highway to town, about 1.5 miles over a hill on K band. Only 1 false X at a certain intersection, no other falses yet.. "Outstanding" is what I think- so far! But I realized all the new detectors have the same technology, just others are "prettier". I shouldve got the $30 XTR-140 and the cordless XTR-185 for $80, and saved myself about $65. Im still bery impressed since the last detector I had was back in the 80's and pretty much barked constantly like a blind dog!! Well, best of luck to ya, and thank you guys for your input!!
