US 59 N/S Between 610 and BW8

Lots of cops sit on the shoulder (fast lane side) using laser right when you come over the hills in this 8 mile stretch from Loop 610 to BW8 North. They usually run it early in the morning to late in the morning, then at rush hour on the way home they are there as well. At late night I never see any cops when you head north on 59 from I-10 to Humble. Once you get out Humble area on 59 that is where they start again.

There was an HPD moto unit setting up Friday morning after the Beltway. Kind of hard for him hide out since every car cresting that overpass was hitting the brakes. Another PL3 by the way.

they are very tough in that area...especially north of humble, they are everywhere and use laser, and will pull you for 5 mph or over

5 over the psl thats a little crazy. That would be so easy to get out of with a good traffic lawyer. I could see 10 and 15 over. But 5 over is probably within the amount of free flowing traffic. They probably waste the amount of money in gas trying to get you for what they write the ticket for.
