If you want to drive on US 59 from Houston, watch out going through Diboll, there are always LEO's (Local, State Trooper and Sheriffs) there day and night looking for new speed traps. They use I/O Ka all the time. Their speeding policy must be the number one in their Department probably same with Houston. There was only one day that I miss seeing the Cop in Diboll which was on Father's Day.

Also, watch out for Splendora, Livingston and Cleveland since these towns can get pretty heavy on patrol.

No matter what Radar Band it is, just don't speed through these small towns.

I noticed that as well, all the way from North of Humble to Cleveland its a huge speed trap, DPS, local, etc. running speedtraps ALL the time...now it is nothing but construction up that way...they love issuing tickets in construction sites.

Lol yea, I'm sure it's fun also but they have nothing better to do in these low crime towns.

We got a nice long laser warning for real. But, I was like WTH that Lufkin have Laser and somewhat stoked too because it was the first time I ever saw and plus my V1 alerted a long way back because it was a very straight road and heavy traffic on it. Didn't think Lufkin would be bad as Diboll and Splendora both on 59. I know this stuff means nothing to you since you encounter like once every week.

It was a Triple Cop Game where one was cruising down the road who was 1 car in front of us and 2 off the right side of the road where one was shooting and the other one was sitting there watching him shoot Laser to catch someone I guess.

It was ProLaser 3 I think but I know this isn't Houston but I was fixing to go there on that day to go to the Airport on June 26th.
That was me. My girlfriend got a laser ticket in Lufkin.

It was an Ultralyte.

I used to drive 59 from Houston through Lufkin every weekend, I know the route like the back of my hand....

DPS IS THE MOST DEADLY FOE.

Their instant on Ka tactics are extremely deadly... they use it when there is little traffic around...

Diebol cops are not very selective when using IO most of the time, and alot of the times just role around on C/O...

Luckly, DPS would rather pull 18-wheelers over than a car. Also, if you use a CB, you will get the sneakiest alerts called out 10+ miles in advance. If they pull over even a single trucker, expect alerts from all truckers who pass him. If DPS is just roling around, usually they wont call them out, unless it is a CVE unit.

Not sure whether it's like it is at night or just pack of cars. I know they usually like to tag someone when there is one car on the left lane up ahead instead of the pack, I noticed they do that trick.

Yes that is true. However, I just won't speed right through that 3 mile town and being one of the worst speed trap I've seen.

Are you referring to Diboll again? because there is a drug trafficking in this Town is what I heard. It's a huge revenue generator there!

DPS is Department of Public saftey, it is state level, not local. Truckers ALWAYS go PSL in Diebol (for a good reason).
