Default Do you leave your radar detector up or down when being pulled over?

I was just curious...for the people that are allowed to use Radar detectors in their state..if you get pulled over do you take down your radar detector and hide it?

I have only been pulled over once in the past few years, I have power switches I put in the dash to kill power to RD, scanner and CB. Mine is mounted high, I just dont want it beeping when LEO walks up. You also dont want to be reaching around to much, makes them nervous.

if it is speed related I would just pull it down....I dont think I have ever been pulled over with a radar detector...if I did....probably would pull it down...im sure the cop would love to joke with me about the radar...and definitily not give me a warning because of the radar

I would yank my V1 down, I assure you the only thing you are doing if not is pissing the cop off.
