Default Radar Detector Theft

What is the best way to prevent your radar detector from being stolen when you leave it parked?

I usually just take it off the bracket and then hide it under the seat.... anyone else do the same thing?

having mounted my V1 like this.......

My stealth Valentine One Radar install

i usually leave it up there with the sun visor down to hide it unless its going to be a very warm day or im getting the car serviced because it really cant be seen from outside

that and i can remove the concealed display in a few seconds if needed

I take it down in certain areas and I always take it down when the car is being serviced.

Usually up all the time, of course that depends on where I'm parking. With the recent heat problem I'm considering taking it down. It's just a pain with it mounted at the headliner. Of course having stolen would be a pain also.

I did have one stolen from me once and it was also return (which I still find odd). Having any rd stolen is not cool. We work hard for our rd whatever model it may be.
