Default Houston: New Cop Cars Are Out

Houston has released a new cop car. I believe they got about 10 of these units floating around now. It's a white dodge charger, it has no lights visible on the car, also it has no markings of police that are visible. I saw one the other day up here around Humble area. They have police written on the car in white...on a white car...and it is only reflective....very very hard to see. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up, I was running up on it and never knew it was a cop until I was right next to it.

Awesome thanks. I've only seen a crown vic with this paint scheme.

Is it definitely Houston and not the county?

Nice, thanks for telling us.

We have some here in East Texas region and they're easy to find with Siren Lights. So, they take theirs off in Houston so they could catch Speeders easier?

It's the city that has them in. I have a very "close" person in law enforcement that gave me the word about these. You will not know they are cops until you are literally right next to them. Plus I had one shooting laser at me last week.

I ran across a Crown Vic with the ghosted livery this morning shooting laser on 59South. I would not say they're hard to spot. I've caught all of them pretty easy. Wide tires, black wheels, spotters, dark tint and a push bar. But you do a double take on the graphics. Pretty lowball tactic by our chief again.
