You should get a 9500I, my guess is a tone of people would love to try it out. The only problem is if they lock out/mark locations you wouldn’t be able to clear them.

I think its great idea because I would not want shell $100's of dollars just see what RD I want side by side at one time.

What is the most commonly rented RD RFR? V1?

Hmm, well for value to performance id be more tending towards a Beltronics RX55, they are around the price of whistler and way better performance.

I'm not saying one is better than the other, that's not my business

I'm just saying that rental wise, a lot of people see the small difference in rental cost between the Pro 73 and the V1 ($10) and almost always make the jump (or if not to a V1, then to an 8500).

When it comes time to purchase, the retail cost between a Pro 73/78 and a V1 will definitely come into play, but rental wise the cost difference is very small.
