I am thinking of having them re-align it as well.... looks like they point to the outside more then it should.... as it should be straight.

I also have my V1 mounted high in the window...... and have the Plate Flipper system coming soon that will flip the plate in the rear

I need to take my front plate off.... yes I know :}

Bought it used from a friend, he hardly ever even drove the vehicle so was basically a brand new unit

best way to line them up is tape a laser pointer on it and see where it points

Good pics.

It's hard to tell from the pics exactly how far off the angle is. Looks like it's not much. You should be OK with how the heads are pointed, even though they are not quite straight ahead.

Of course there is no way to tell for sure without testing and/or experience.

I always recommend straight on, but the lens is so sensitive on the LPP that I really don't think you'll have a problem. There may be some other LPP users on the forum who perhaps would have some insight on this as well based on their own experience.

i can concur that the lens on the LPP is very sensitive. i installed my blue mute wire last week and i tested it by shooting my marksman over the drivers door at the wall in front of the car while sitting in the car and it alerted instantly. much easier than shooting it head on and running around to see if it worked as i didnt want to be creating a scene with the radio up loud

my heads in the dual setup were slightly aimed to each side also and i could not tell any difference after i aligned them properly so id reckon you should be ok as well. after all the LEO will never be aiming straight on at you in a real life situation.

unless youre the first car that comes along LOL
