If you were a cop where would you radar cars at? Where do you think the best place to radar/laser cars at also in the defense of a cop against people with radar detectors???

If I was into traffic radar as a cop I would probably use a laser gun and hide on a curve that had a hill where people couldnt see me until going over the hill on a curve

I would use IO and stake out behind a ton of trees at the bottom of a hill.

I would never be a Cop when someone has a V1.

Isn't this Topic Appropriate? I'm afraid you throw out things that you prefer being a Cop and real Cops on here will try it and they win it.

Thing to consider is that cops pretty much already know good hiding spots anyways. So what we say isnt gonna make much difference.

Lidar.
Highway entrance ramps. shooting from behind

Radar
Highway entrance ramps. IO shooting from behind

Amazingly underused tactic and pretty deadly since very few people spot check entrance ramps. Also has the added benefit that not only will it take a top notch RD to pick up the scatter. Its reflected scatter, which is even harder to pick up than IO shot towards traffic.

Be glad I'm not a LEO Texans.

Actually, in all honesty I would probably sit in the open median running CO most of the time. That way you get the idiots that aren't paying attention to the road.

In my town where there are alot of hills, I would just hide behind trees at the bottom of the hill as cars are going downhill. In the city, I would just wear some normal clothes or some Construction orange vest standing there shooting lasers with trees in front of me and call on Cops ahead to catch Speeders.
