Fiberglass is just a great think to limit your radar refelction to the gun...Part of the reason why the Corvette have a low radar clocking range. I would assume a fiberglass front end might help...

In fact the rf pass thru the fiberglass , it is like air seen by the rf , the reflected rf is the ones from the metal behind the fiberglass ...Thus the diminished clocking range of a Corvette is due to his low profile , thus low Rcs .

This Radar absorbing foam is something that goes with each different radar frequency there really isn't a foam for all frequencies

You mean a ''tuned'' absorber does this .
Altough it exists broadband absorber that do the job from 20 ghz to 40 ghz , the bracket we are interested in ...K to Ka .

That matches my research and understanding about fiberglass and "plastic" in relation to radar waves.

Anyone know where I can get some of the foam for 34.7 stalker? I have found specific material we can add to the paint, but I would rather not try that at the moment -at least on the outside

Thanks to all for the input

800 ft to lock speed on average.

Any material on the outside will have minimal effect . A minimum thickness is needed to absorb the energy , a minimum of 0.375inch for 34 ghz.

Do you have a link for this specific add-on to paint ?

I'm repainting my car soon, is this material you're talking about ferrite? Does anyone know what's a good ferrite to paint ratio? And also about this foam, where can you buy it? Thanks.

Look at pm .

I made my own test , if one could cover all the frontal area of a car ,
it would reduce the range of acquisition by 1/3 . Since this is not
usually easily feasible , the range could be cut by 20% , by covering
the radiator , not much but better than nothing ...This foam does not
impede the airflow.
