Default New Section Really Needed

For those of us with GPS. We could give a list of gps cordinates or POI that people could list on this site and then load into the gps. Of potentially popular areas of speed traps. Ones that are constantly ran or sometimes ran. It would make a great thing to add into your gps system. That way if you come into a unkown area you would get a reminder if your coming up on and area that is a notorious speed trap. We could do it by state etc

We need to get and admin to add this in. We need to use a unversial format soemthing that could be loaded directly or something that can be easily convereted to other formats as well as needed by your gps.

When and if Escort releases the software for the 9500I we may be able to use it and I would trust you guys better than a general sight.

I can add this but will take some time, we can just add the subcategory into the individual states in the "speed trap" information part of the forum labeled "GPS Coordinates" ??

It seems pretty easy but lot of work involved beyond that, I will get this up for you guys as soon as I can, been working alot on adding the "Articles" section, will have just about every manual you could ever need for a radar detector that you can download from.

That sounds fine just create a sub cat. below each state. We will deal with the format etc.

Allright I just did it for one state to make sure this is what you guys want, let me know any changes and then after it looks good I can finish up the rest of the states for you guys.

I think the best way to go about this is to use a spreedsheet that way we can plug it in the correct formats as we need. This will be easier in the long run.

I will create a master spreedsheet in which we all use. I will have the orginals. People can update the one online at will. But if somebody goofs it up I will have the last good backup. I will check everyday for the validity of each state. Also we will create a spreedsheet for each major city with a 50 mile boundry outside of the city to include the suburbs of all the speed traps within that city. Once outside that 50 mile boundry a seperate sheet will be created that will have specific interstates that would not include the city and 50 mile boundry speedtraps. That way if somebody just wants a certain section of interstate they can get just that. If they want just a particular city they can get that. Instead of pulling info of and entire state of speed traps. For some states that would be allot. Speed traps will range from notrious everyday to on occasion. So we will sort of know the degree of threat level.

Admin I need you to create the gps cat subs for the other states.
