Looks really good. I have already created a listing for a part of Texas already. I use xls (spreadsheet format) So that Lat and Long can be easily copied over to any gps coordinate program as needed for your gps format. I will try to do one other state I hope that people will use the format and cover their own state. We only benefit from each other if we do are share. If we so desire to visit another state. We can pull the valuable information off this site and put it into are gps. This provides a great resource in that it lets us know where red light cameras are and occasional to everyday speed traps are. This will take allot of mystery out when being on the highway. While we might not see and Leo at every listed speed trap. But if it saves us atleast one time or more it makes it all worth it.

Ok I have done the entire state of texas speed trap listing for the non city interstate areas. Some speed trap listings do include some city areas but most are outside the city listings. go to the speed trap information section to get the file.

thank-you so much. I'm trying to work on the city speed trap listings. I really hope that other people will help out with either the state I have done so far or contribute with their state. If you dont contribute nobody benefits. You can use google earth to plot the lat and long of the trap. (using the pushpin) feature gives you the lat long. Take the lat and long and plug it into the spreedsheet and reupload it. Spreedsheet is really the only universial format from their you can convert it over to what ever your gps accepts. gpx etc.

This info is better then what any radar detector can give. Popular speed traps can be very sneeky and in allot of cases with IO being used deadly. Letting people know that they are entering and area that contains a popular speed trap. Allows them to keep on their toes when going through that area. If you see the trap set. Then it made getting the file and installing it on your gps all worthwhile.
