Live Police Scanner on RadarReviews.Net?

If we were to add the option to allow it where you could listen to a live police scanner for your local area while browsing/posting on RadarReviews.Net how many people would use it?

Its like what is on here now with the live XM radio and TV where you can listen to radio, I can get the scanner frequencies for all major US cities and then implement it into the system where you could listen to live police activities in your area from this website while browsing the forum

It's called a line in cable easy to put scanner audio to a computer and even record it.



I do like the idea matt, although i can see your concern because many of us have scanners, digital and analog, if we wanted to listen most of us would tune ours in. Although I think it would be neat to hear activity in distant areas. For that reason i think i'd maybe like the idea.

I only was able to get Sacramento, Ca and Houston, TX right now, my goal is to get all major cities up and about:

Once you access this click the category "police scanners" and you will be able to view all the police scanners SO FAR

Also if you notice in there you can listen to live XM radio and TV.

Exactly! I have a neighbor who listens to a police scanner, and I decided to look into owning one. But, I don't know the first thing about them, and I don't want to buy something I don't know how to use

I have Houston, TX available and Sacramento live that you can listen to on your computer, plus XM radio is available to listen to!

Thanks for the link. I chose the category "police scanner", and clicked on both the Houston and Sacramento channels, but nothing happens...

Make sure in the top of the window in the video player window should be showing "Playing Houston...." etc.... and you should see a time clock start going of how long you have played it for. Let me know if it still isnt working for you?
