| His name is Mark, telephone number: 713-862-2199 Address is: 2415 N Durham Dr. Houston, TX 77008 He has his own audio/electronic shop. Very nice guy. Just tell him that Matt sent you from RR.Net. We are working on having him start carrying laser jammers for sale in his shop and be an official installer for certain brands such as LPP, blinder, laser mask, interceptor and more.

However what was weird is the laser mask went off before the valentine one radar, and he was shooting me at an angle..my car was still pointing the other way as I was coming around a sharp curve.... not sure how the laser mask got that alert that quick, was quite impressed, the v1 went off as soon as I was straight facing the police shooting the pro laser 3

![]() | maybe the car itself was getting in the way at that angle so......... i have been noticing lately from rewatching my vids that my LPP is alerting about half a second before my V1 actually but i like the V1's alert tone as its hard to miss, even if i have a window down etc, while driving.

![]() | It's not impossible for a jammer like the LaserMask to "out-receive" the LPP (or a stand-alone detector, even the V1). We've seen that the ZR4 has *excellent* receptive capabilities - much better than the PASS (which, if all guesses are correct, is a near-replica of the LPPs physical construct). Previous to the ZR4, the ZR3 won nearly universal praise from experienced LIDAR-countermeasures hobbyists as being very, very reception-sensitive. It's not altogether impossible that the LaserMask, using the same kind of technology seen in the Blinder and ZR3 (which translates also to the ZR4), would be an excellent receiver. In terms of the V1, its optical construct, in terms of the laser receiver, is much akin to that of the AL/LPP/LaserStar/PASS - IRCMUSA's past IR-videos demonstrated this to us, as well as his and other's "dissection" of the V1. This, coupled with the fact that the V1 is placed high, strategically to capture reflections and "scatter" as well as to "see through" vehicles ahead, may not be optimally placed to receive a direct hit or closer-to-roadway scatter, which may have been what the LaserMask alerted to. Similarly, with their extreme outboard position, it is also very much possible that, as cork suggested, it was able to capture scatter that the inboard LPPs as well as V1 missed (until later, when vehicle rotation and positioning towards the LIDAR source was more favorable) due to the angle of the vehicle/heads, with respect to the LIDAR source.

![]() | ^ That's the strange thing - no one, so far, has been able to propose a reason why the ZR3/ZR4 has such amazing receptive coverage. One thing is for sure. RECEPTION is *not* the root cause of the ZR4's performance deficits.
