100pps UL in Ireland!!!!

to all UK and Irish LPP users, the 100pps Ultralyte is in use here. i got a vid of me being hit by one last night.

im pretty pi$$ed that i took down the camera after the alert but i was making sure i wouldnt get nabbed .

i went through this road the other way first so this is not a save. i saw the tripod mounted Ul and 2 cops so i did a U-turn to get this vid.

up at the end of the road around the corner nearly, there is a big white sign and they were hiding in an entrance up there to the left of that on the vid. i was most likely the last car they hit as i saw him taking the equipment apart as i passed by after making this vid. unfortunately they were gone when i went around for another pass .

the LPP alerts first on a broken tone instead of its normal constant one and the V1 next which pretty much drowns it out so you have to listen quickly to hear the 100pps LPP alert at around 11 seconds in.

im planning at the moment to set up a constant running dash cam to get these things as they happen so next time hopefully i will get footage of the actual trap and the cops running it next time

Yep and i had a rear laser save on a 100pps also 135 in a 100 first time i heard it.

yep. never been hit by one of those guns before. when i heard the broken tone i was like WTF??????

i had to take a look at the video when i got past the trap to make sure i had actually heard it .

freaky how eire05 and myself both had our first 100pps UL hits each, within 5-6 hours of each other the same day though

nice save though eire, especially a sneaky rear attack with only one head on the rear

as i previously mentioned, i did not capture a save on video here. i simply had a lucky find and did a U-turn down the road to get a hit

however, i am in the process of collecting components for a constant running stealth mounted dash-cam to capture these incidents and hopefully a few real life saves (which you can never predict, eh eire ).

i had a rear save here this evening .

i was on a main road here this evening on the way home doing 130+ in a 100KMH zone when i was rear lasered from an onramp. once again by a 100pps Ultralyte because i got the broken tone again on my rear LPP .

i usually take it handy going by this spot but after having no sightings there in over a month, i figured id take a chance this once. would have been a big mistake had i no rear protection .

i did however have my brake light kill switch turned to off just in case so i slowed to PSL and killed the rear LPP. no blue lights .

i bet he was scratching his head after that
