Default 3 mile range on K40 Calibre. HOLY SH**

66 is a nice piece of pavement to let the peddle hit the medal. I was coming around a bend and started to get an alert. I reset my trip and 3 miles later I come up to a stater pointing the nose of his car against traffic. I'm not sure if he was using a hand held or dash mount. All I can say is I'm in live with my new K40 Calibre. I expected alot from this radar detector. I now have proof it's worth every penny.

If laser jammers weren't illegal in my area I would buy a K40 Defuser EX in a ranger mile minute.

Great range! where do you live? What band was it?

Its tough here on the east coast, the weather and area greatly affects my detection range.

X2 on that I have experienced detection of LEO at or near the same distances, I didnt reset my trip to get exact distance but it had to be at least over 2 miles. What band was it?

You know what I find funny, oh and by the way I own both the K40 and 9500ci so you might as well tag me as you have done with any other K40 owner. I find it funny that a small few continue to post in a K40 thread only to talk bad about the people who have them and about the K40 product and it is always the same people never anybody else but I continue to see new post by people who have a K40 stating what they think and driving experiences that have with them, which I thought what this forum was for. But the bashing continues by the small group pf people who seem to have never tried or currently own a K40, for the exception of CJR who owned a K40 dashmount A LONG TIME AGO. What else I find very funny is they seem to make it a mission to continue posting durogatory remarks about those people who again own the K40 when there are many people in this forum that own other RD but I never see these few people bashing them......That's funny ! The only obvious thing in this forum is you dont like K40 and make it a purpose to talk bad about them and there product. My advice is THEN DONT BUY IT....... and leave it at that. Bottom line is this is a RADAR DETECTOR FORUM and anybody registered has the right to post remarks about ANY RD and that includes K40.

LOL........ I agree, you know what else I find funny Judgeman !

That they claim to want somekind of proof, which since I have been on this forum I have seen 1 video on K40 jammer showing it worked, a lasertest.com website giving the K40 jammer great reviews and many people giving there feedback on how they feel about the K40 THEY OWN performing. And still they continue to slam the people and the product and most importantly, I would like to know WHERE THEY GET THERE COMMENTS FROM, cause the only one who has ever told me anything was CJR, he owned a K40 dash about 8-9 years ago outside of that all of there knowledge on the K40 is word of mouth. which they will believ rather then doing what they have dont with ANY OTHER RD, which was to test it themselves... That's funny it is almost like herassment.....
