Are these your own findings?

They look good. Wish more people did this, if not for the community then at least for themselves. Thanks for posting this. Much appreciated

The test results are a bit fishy, and are a bit different from what we know are true.
I personally do my own testing and compare products. I guess we can at least use this as a reference and make our own decision what is best.

But that's just it, you don't know if the other tests are "true". All you know is what a group of people want you to know, and history has shown that big money has a way of corrupting "results". My own personal tests reveal that these results, while not perfect, are closer to the actual truth. I am glad that you do your own testing and compare products. Everyone else should follow suit. It's the only way to get real world data in your car in your cities terrain.

To me they look to be consistent with most of the tests out there. I assume you are referring to the test placing the V1 fourth, but that ranking seems to be subjective and probably based on it's falsing too much and being feature poor. Look at individual categories and it leads or is tied for tops except in the over the hill category, which just about every test I've seen confirms. Over the hill on Ka, especially the 35.5 is a well documented weakness for the V1 as are certain off axis receptions on 35.5. In all other categories, except falsing, the V1 does well and this test shows that.

I gave up on paying any attention to these allegedly objective tests years ago. The bottom line: try as many as you can in your price range and buy the one you like the most.

^ +1.

Basically, any of the top-dogs will do more than well enough - and even the "second tier," too.

Just something as simple and as unpredictable as production-line variances can easily make "your" detector different from "my" detector, even if they are the same make/mode.

X2. My 9500I I sent in to Escort to be upgraded to an ix has better sensitivity on K band in comparison to before. I am concerned with KA though, not to many wow encounters. But than again I haven’t had that many KA encounters yet ether.

I can say from experience that what he states about the GX65 is pretty on the mark. I have been real impressed with it.I have it mid windshield and the detection range is great...I also have a STi-R mounted low in my grill area and my GX65 is often only a second behind the STi-R on all Bands...I have tried it against all my RDs....9500i,XTR-695,RX65,Vector 995, and the GX65 is very close in detection...It has really BLOWN me away.
