![]() | Ok, heres the question. Think there really is a difference in the units made by a company? I have 2 Whistlers, different models, both weigh the same and are similiar shaped. Both have the exact same reaction times, actuations, sensitivities, etc, just "look" different ( and one uses batteries). Im thinking the heterodyney thingamadoodles that pick up the bands/laser are probably all the same trade-wise... Hmmm? Just charge more money for the interfaces? I know most people want performance without paying for all the other, as I do, but wouldnt buy a "low end" because they think it wont work. Theres about $60 difference between mine but the work identically...Coincidence? | ||||||||

Most companies are lazy and aren't going to have totally different models. They will have a base unit than just add features.

![]() | With Whistler, it's mostly a difference in features and displays that sets them apart. For example, the Pro-78 and XTR-690 are about the same RD, but one has an LCD display with a compass while the other has an LED display and no compass.
