The Beltronics alerts at the same time with Ka band and about a half second later on X and K band. It does however pick up photo band radar better but still too late to avoid a ticket. This detector is about equal in quality to my brothers Whistler pro-78.

That's funny. Wait till the dude compares the V995 vs. the Cobra on 35.5Ka radar. Worse yet, the reason why the V995 responded later than his Cobra is that, obviously, he was operating both RDs at the same time. Cobra RDs are notorious for suppressing sensitivity on any other RD which is being operated at the same time as a Cobra. Why? Because the other RD (seriously, any other RD model) is too busy trying to filter out the strong LO emissions from the cheap Cobra RD design!
