Default Valentine One V1 Radar Detector: Valentine One Review

rating: 1/5 by: Epinions Author tystap - I recently was late for an appointment and decided to finally put my Valentine to use. I quickly learned that the Valentine was not what it was cracked up to be. I went right by the cop and The Valentine did not beep or make any noise period! I look back and I am being pulled over! I did not have any obstacles to prevent the detector from detecting the cop either. I had it placed it in the center of the windshield for a straight shot! I did not pay $400 for something that does not work! I do not recommend this product and I would search for a more reliable Radar Detector.

Haha, what an Idiot... Epinions is backward when you read the other reviews about other RD like Cobra being Rated 4/5 or K40 being 5/5. LOL

yup.... people need to understand as well.... if you are out on a road by yourself I dont care how good your radar detector is.... it probably will be useless to you! Alot of cops use "instant on" where there radar sits in silence and just pop you as you go by... this is why it is important to have a rabbit in front of you to detect when he shoots the instant on in front of you.

thankfully we dont have instant-on here. we have very little radar here at all actually, though i did come across a k-band constant on one last september but i cant tell you how rare a thing like that is here now.

almost 100% laser here now so a jammer is a must and rabbits are optional but i do use them where i can.

pretty hard to find a good one though

Instant on radar no radar can compete against...the best tool is having a rabbit obviously.... you cant just buy a radar detector throw it in the window...and drive crazy everywhere....doesnt work that way
