![]() | THE VIDEO COPILOT DASH CAMERA/DVR - Products With today's technology there is not reason we call cannot feel the security of knowing we are protected by a dash cam that continuously records both audio and video while we drive with time and date embedded in the video. To see samples of both daytime and night time recording click here. THE VIDEO COPILOT DASH CAMERA/DVR - VC-100 Video I share a history of why I think we all should have a dash cam and how it would have more than paid for itself one time when my wife was ran off the road by another car that did not stop. But there are many other reasons we should all consider owning one. The VC-100 is as easy to install as any radar detector and just flat works dependably and has your back should you need it. I really think it would be wonderful if even 10% of the vehicles on the road had one. If you happen to catch an accident that happens on your dash cam, I am fairly certain you would be able to sell that video to an insurance company to the driver not at fault. There is no disputing video evidence. Period. Capture news worthy video for the media. That awesome tornado you saw ahead. Or see where the kids took your car. It comes with an 8gb CF card that holds a minimum of 10 hrs video and audio and once full overwrites the Oldest file so you always have the last 10 hrs of video at 30 fps in living color. 720x 480 resolution with a Sony CCD lens. The operating system is Linux for stability and reliability. The performance rivals the dash cams used by law enforcement that cost between $3000-$4000.00 Right now I have it on sale for $219.99 with a suggested MSRP of $299.99. Don't buy some cheaper model for $100 or even less. Those are not dependable at all and a crap shoot whether it is even actually recording. This unit starts recording as soon as you turn on the ignition and power goes to the cigarette adapter. Or you can hard wire it to the fuse box like I did. In short. It just works without fail. It comes with a one year replacement warranty but to date none have failed. They are tested at the factory and once again by me when I ship it out after setting the time for you as a courtesy so you can plug in and start recording. Trust me. You want one of these.

![]() | Much rather have a hidden cam that records over my shoulder, showing the road and my speedometer for use in legal proceedings.

In my Toyota Prius I can see the digital dash. In fact, in the night video you can see my speedometer. Just need to adjust it for your particular car. But for me, every time I have gotten a ticket, a video would have just proved the cop right. And no offense, but I suspect in most cases those that get a ticket were speeding. Why do we use a radar detector? I have mine to warn me when there is radar. And it is NOT because I am driving the speed limit. So I really don't see how it could help in a speeding ticket. Running a red light, stop sign? If you did come to a complete stop, if that light was yellow and not red when you entered the intersection. These things could be aided by video evidence. But speeding? Even a hidden camera would be hard to prove your exact speed limit at the time the radar or laser hit your vehicle. Most of us don't drive exactly at one speed limit constantly. Now, it would be and could be helpful if you got a belligerent cop, because is does record audio unless you disable it. I think proof in a traffic accident of who was at fault should you need it can save you time and money. But as far a video recording of your speed at the time you get pulled over goes, I venture to say in most cases it would only substantiate the fact that you were indeed speeding. The only point to argue being how much over you were going. As a rule, I try to keep it less than 10 miles over. But for every speeding ticket I got, the fact of the matter was, I got caught and I was going over the speed limit. I suspect that is true for most of us that have gotten a ticket. Maybe not all, but most. After all, why would anyone using a radar detector need one, if they drive the speed limit?

![]() | I have one time that I got a ticket was definitely was NOT speeding. The van in front of me was, but I had the out of state plates and I got the ticket. Film of my dash would have proven me right. Another time, I got a ticket for 59 in a 40 and was probably doing only 49 or so. Lady behind me in an RSX was hauling butt and they clocked her. Pulled both of us over and gave us tickets for the same speed. Again, I would have had proof. Now I use GPS to track my speed.

![]() | just been browsing and came across www.watchesluxus.com there prices seem to be way lower that standard. All of the brand watches seem to be priced around $100 to $300. Are they fakes? The site seems to look quite legit. fake watches Luxury watches replica watches replica watches
