There is usually a Detroit Traffic Enforcement car sitting on the intersecting streets (i.e. Capitol) therefore they will catch you whether you are travelling northbound or southbound on evergreen. Regardless of direction, there is a light at the bottom of the hill. They are quick to catch you pass thru a yellow/red light. Also, they will sit at the top of the hill, which is actually the overpass for I-96) and wait to catch you speeding over which is hard not to do when you're on the way down.
