Question Best Radar/Lidar guns to buy?

I'm planning on buying 5-6 Radar/Lidar guns for testing purposes.

Which ones should I be looking into, and where is the best place to buy them from?

I guess I missed the part where you tell us where you live, what you will be testing with them, and why. That would really help.

It may also be possible to rent some, do you have any of the licenses required to use them?

There used to be someone on another forum which rented them but as far as I know he does not do it anymore. If you know of other sources that rent, then we'd appreciate a nudge in that direction

Well, as you mentioned here Escort appears to have great products. That would most likely be a good start for your testing purposes.

After doing a bit of browsing, I found Amazon to be the best bet for getting a good price on Escort's products.

Hope you find what you need!

09 Milan, not sure if you know that you need a license to use the newer radar guns and not sure if you need a lic. for a older radar gun like I have from Kustoms? I dont care about a lic. so I use it anyways but I pick the area for testings more discreet then when I shoot lidar.

As for testings I like lidar testing over radar so I would rather have more lidar guns and maybe 1-2 radar guns ( K and Ka). Good luck in your venture.

Do you need a separate license with each gun, or one license for all?

Its a Class 15 or Class 19 for radar guns since its dealing with the FCC...I dont know since I dont own one for my K-12 Kustoms handheld because its civil war old.
