Default The Best...?

I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Right now i am running a crappy POS cobra detector, only cause it was given to me for free. By the time that thing went off, the state trooper already had his lights on. POS I have been looking at the V1, is that the top of the line detector? 90% of the time they run KA band around here. maybe a few K and a few laser. Money isnt really an issue, but i'm lookin for the best one to suit my needs. Anyone help? Suggestions on any other detectors? thanks!

V1 is definitely a good choice, its very sensitive. However the 9500ix is one of the most advanced RD's out there with almost the same range as the V1.

Basically if you drive allot of highway with few false alerts V1 hands down.

If you drive city/rural areas 9500ix will do very well and give very few false alerts if that annoys you.
