Default Just bought me another LPP for retail.

I got a 2 head lpp from the North American rep. for retail which is alot cheaper then what DMI charges. The retail prices for lpp has never changed when Alex (North American LPP) became the Canada/US lpp rep. I did not buy from DMI because he has been charging too much for the product. This is not a personal attact but just informing the members here what the real price of the lpp is and what it is not.

2 head lpp cost me $799 (real retail price)

Not the $849.99 that DMI (US LPP Rep.) charges it customers

Again this is not a personal attact just telling the factual truth.

well this is not a personal attack but here ya go i could have saved you a whole 10 dollars and shipped it to you FedEx for free and you would have kept your money in America. If there was any warranty issues you dont have to wait on customs sending it back in and out of the country.
Oh well
DMI is a large store and charges full retail the USA market retail price is 849
do you see radar busters or any other company charging less than retail?
laser pro park

I charge a lower price because i make my money on the install my labor rate is 71.36 a hour.
It keeps my customers from buying in canada wink wink.

I have my shipping for free and pay less $50 less then the $849 which is $50 too much for the lpp that you charge.

yea 60 dollars more thats USA retail.
I mark them down alitle because i am a installer it helps with the sale becuse i wont install something someone bought from someone else and i cant warranty it. I cannot sell out side of my terratory which is the US and i cant warranty produts imprted so for instance if you would have purchaced it form DMI and paid the extra 60 dollars or from another USA retailer and had a repicept i could warranty it for you. But now if your product has a problem which i hope it doesnt you would have to deal with customs and send yours to the UK or Canada. Becuse i am a installer thats whay i tryed to get a varity of jamming systems.
I have LPP Blinder Lidatek and Escort currently. I was trying to get Anti Laser but when i finaly got a hold of croatia the told me they werent intrested in the US market.

If I ever have problems(none yet or questions..I just have to hit speed dial on my cell and give the North American lpp dealer a call since he is one of my best friends. I have nor has any of my friends and other people had any problems with custom's at anytime.

Again this is not a personal attact just telling the factual truth.
Just want to clarify a few things, also in line with "factual truth" as you mentioned.

1. Alex is not the U.S. rep. He is the Canada rep. Anyone who doesn't believe that should look at Laser Protector's website for themselves, under the Distributors tab. A link is Here.

2. Due to some of the traffic on this subject, we looked into this issue a bit further and learned that Alex is not authorized to sell into the U.S. If he is doing that then he is violating his agreement with Laser Protector. Likewise, we are not authorized to sell outside the U.S., though our agreement is with Laser Protector USA - the official U.S. distributor.

3. Why are our costs higher than Alex? Well, I can't say for sure but I would venture that our wholesale costs are higher than his for one. Alex is a distributor. Our company is a reseller. We buy from the U.S. distributor. Obviously, the U.S. distributor needs to make some money as well or they would not be in the business. So, presuming both distributors buy from the manufacturer at the same price, then obviously that has an effect. This is basic business supply chain economics.

4. Second (on the subject of business costs), we are a corporation. We have a corporate office. We pay a lease and utilities for physical office space, etc. Does Alex have these expenses? I don't know.

5. We do offer a discount on the LPP products for RR.net members. We also provide free shipping as standard for continental U.S. orders. To this point, we should post something in our sponsor section of the forum about this to make it more public, and I'll take care of that shortly. But basically, you enter a coupon code (RRNET) during checkout. The discount is 10% on any item listed under our "Laser Defense" category. This brings your cost down to $764.99 for a dual head unit and $449.99 for a single head unit. Add the free shipping into the equation and I believe we offer a better deal.

6. We are not affiliated with IRCMUSA. They appear to represent another U.S. reseller.

7. FYI for any prospective buyers who don't want to deal with any of us, they can always buy direct from the UK and pay $50 shipping, deal with the exchange rate, and not have a U.S. warranty. It won't cost them anything from U.S. Customs provided the total value is under $2,500 and it's for personal use.
