I think that $500-550 for a system that will protect the front of my car is fair. Be it that require 1 head or 2 I don't care. But I don't think we should have to pay more.

I'm with ya bro.I do think the prices are rather high.Just like the RX75 i found out that the dealer cost is something like 600.00 but the end consumer cost is like 1500.00 installed.Look at that markup!!!!!!This is the main contributing factor to why people shop on ebay.If you buy a unit off of ebay for 500.00 without a warranty, even if you have to send it in to Belsort,it'll only cost you what 70.00-80.00 to have it fixed including shipping. That's still a big difference form 1500.00

I agree, wow I had no idea of the mark up there! Sound familiar to anyone?

I was reading the GOL test and see they used one LPP head on a charger, but very limited testing. And i need it for OP shots so I guess I am out of luck.

There are ways to find out the dealer cost of anything if you have the time and resources.

I am curious though. What exactly was the problem you ran into with the Junction Box?
The issue was the 100pps Ultralyte. Ultralytes are used a lot in my area.

So when the GOL results came out, I was just a little concerned. Then I had an encounter where my RD went off but my LPP remained silent. The LEO had an Ultralyte, but I figured the RD picked up scatter, but on the side of caution, I contacted LPP UK about the 100pps issue.

I then actually got nailed in another speed trap, LPP silent but RD alerted, but the cop let me off, it was again an Ultrlyte. So I now knew we had 100 pps Ultralytes in use here.

So I needed an upgraded box.

4) The LPP "Bum Boys" then ganged up on me on the LPP forum to have me STFU.
5) The Canadian Distributor stepped up to the plate and provided me a new control box with the 100 pps fix.
6) The rep in Canada is a straight up honest guy.
