It gives me EXTREME pleasure to bring you this 'CONSUMER ALERT'. As many of you know i'm like a broken record when it comes to any of Ne*l Br*wn's products after being shafted by him in the past. (Boy subie/FF05 how does it feel to be doubled fuc*ed)

So it looks as if he's going for a string of 'not what it says on the tin' products

Thats right the GOL results are in the results speak for themselves

I guess this is why they felt the need to blatantly shill the product

Excuse me if i gloat but..................

What slimey little worm's...awaits the Goons BLog entry

Frankly, I'm disappointed that the LaserStar didn't perform better.

I expected the LaserStar's performance to not fare as well as the LPP (and AL G8, had it been tested) and the LI, but still, I'd thought that as a rumored AL G7 (or "AL7") clone, it would have performed at least as well as that unit did, on the GOL's 2006 testing:

Guys of LIDAR - Laser Jammer Testing

It's too bad, really. One less choice for the consumer.

In terms of The Goons, though, they've always been The Fail.

Undoubtedly, they'll dream up something to say about the GOL's results, which are so drastically different from their own supposedly "unbiased" results.

That, and, of course, the friction behind the personalities of these two groups cannot be discounted, and although I do not, in any way, trust The Goons - and have nothing but the utmost trust and respect for the GOL - I have no doubt that the former will try to discredit the latter, as well as these testing results, by citing the same.

I'm also disappointed that the PASS control-box was DOA. Although the PASS w/compatible c-boxes (which was a very attractive point of the PASS, I thought) results were disappointing, and that I'd really liked to have seen a true PASS setup compete/be tested......

thats funny about the laser star.....I would rather have nothing on my car....seems like on some of the test it was like the jammer wasnt even working

Very nice data, can see the pros and cons of each laser jammer, nicely done!

I think I am going to post this up on the homepage for the goons to see!

found this

"All jammers were tested with two transponders.
Each jammer's transponders were mounted in the same locations on the test vehicle."

im actually impressed with laser mask, they used a two head system which is led and got alot of JTG...I guess we will have to wait to see at our testing event since I have the 4 head unit...if they are getting alot of JTG with 2 and then punchthroughs here and there...with 4 should be great.

The test vehicle they used they labeled it as "worst case scenario" as it had alot of chrome, etc. on the front as guys of lidar stated. If you can find a dark vehicle with great laser signature...shouldnt be too hard to get a JTG on the laser pro park, laser interceptor, and the laser mask. The lpp and laser interceptor or both diode based, so very happy with the results of laser mask as it is a led based jammer. Also laser pro park and laser interceptor seemed to both perform very well with exception to the Trafficpatrol XR...seems like all the jammers had a problem with it....whats the pulse rate on it??

Courtesy of GuysofLidar.Com for the information shown in this thread, they also conducted a radar test of the new model escort passport 9500ci and the Valentine One Radar as seen below:
