Default Cops very heavy on laser this morning - Houston

I was off today and decided to drop the girl off at work this morning (her car has no laser jammer), well on my way back up to Humble when I get onto hwy 59 north from I-10, I immediately noticed HPD was running VERY VERY heavy there this morning shooting the pro laser 3. Within about a 4 mile course I counted at least 7 cops, 3 of them were using radar and the other 4 were using pro laser 3 guns this morning....MAN where was my laser jammer that I have been wanting to test out with my new setup (Laser Pro park & 4 head laser mask...all mounted up front ).

Well I finally get back to my house and jump in the celica with all the laser jammers and started heading that way. When I get back to where they were they WERE ALL GONE

Well I started driving back home and finally noticed that there was one cop ahead shooting pro laser 3 (noticed him on the other side when I was heading back downtown). Well I have everything ready and nothing at all...no radar... no laser.... hmmm

Well I go back around for another shot and there is this other car beside me (im in fast lane) and we are right on the speed limit and he lights us up with his lights....im confused...still no laser alerts or radar alerts...

He ended up pulling over the car next to me...still not sure why. So I tried again and after the third time had the same scenario...no laser...no radar...pulling people over.....

So I finally went back home....was hoping for my first laser attack with my new setup...still no luck

Im curious what he was pulling people over....obviously he wasnt shooting radar or laser...I had 6 sensor laser heads up front ready, and Valentine one mounted high....nothing..... earlier I saw him shooting pro laser 3...maybe he decided to get lazy and just "estimate" their speeds....

Who knows... my time will come soon I guess for my first attack with new setup

Also this morning they had alot of the new white dodge chargers being used, there is no markings except for in the rear window on the top liner they have the lights mounted up there, its a white dodge charger, they use white lettering on the side of the car, and then have no spot light mirror on the side, just lights mounted up where the visor up front is....very hard to tell it is a cop.

Also noticed an older crown victoria car with no markings at all on it shooting laser, he had on the side in white writing on his white car "houston police." I guess they are starting to do that with their older vehicles now......

I saw 4 cops on Gessener between San Felipe and Hempstead Highway. No reaction from the RD, they either used IO or laser.

Crazy stuff.... I really need to get my jammer installed!

I'm guessing HPD wasn't targeting you. I've been "shot around" many times. If they got a steady hand your RD/LJ will miss the shot at the car next to you.

The PL3 gets a bad rap from us because it's easy to jam but from an operators viewpoint it's a great gun. Sick range, a tight beam and fewer errors. No wonder HPD loves it so much.

Stay in the left lane and you'll catch a strike. It's just a matter of time

It was so much easier to get a reading with a PL3 compared to that crappy UL.....

If I operate LIDAR I would definiltey prefer a PL3.

yeah the PL3 was very easy to get a reading on a vehicle not using a jammer at the last event.

Wow that's sucks RR!

I'm curious, are you allowed to cruise around over and over to test out RD and LJ in Texas?

It's a public road....why not....im sure if they spot you doing it enough times they will pull you over and be suspicious on what you are doing....sure they will find you a reason to pull you over....but in Houston there is so many cars....not like it's just me out there.

I want to do one run to see if I get a full JTG on them, after that I always kill the laser jammer off when I get down to the PSL.

Laser jammers & radar detectors are both legal in the state of TX obviously.
