I was able to get a 4 head laser mask unit in, which is a led based unit. I will do some testing and tuning for best head placement but wanted to know what you guys think would be best for head placement at for the first install. Here is some pictures of the unit, I will be installing this on a dark color toyota celica, where should I mount the heads at, this is the 4 head unit. I have only had a diode based head installed on my vehicle in the past, curious to see how a led based head can do for jamming of the gun:

I like the control box on this unit, can have up to 4 heads on one control box.

I have red & green on this picture to show where I am planning on mounting the 4 heads, on the red I would just remove the grill and toyota symbol and install the head there....what do you guys think?

The laser pro park is not enough? You could have bought a laser star system (4 head) and been protected for alot less money. A 4 head laser star only costs $899. How money did you spend btw?

The dual head laser pro park when we did our last test I wasn't able to get a punch through. However most people dont know this but like most all laser jammers there is one cpu box....one brain. We found out from the last test when you fire two laser guns at the vehicle at once you will get a reading...reason is...only one cpu box can process one signal at a time. So if I can put some sensors up front and if I was ever to have an attack of two laser guns at one time I would be covered. Also I dont have any rear protection of my vehicle. What I would like to do is split it which is why I decided to go with a 4 head which I was able to get for only 579. I am wanting to run two laser mask up front and two in the rear (for protection)....with this setup I will have protection in the rear and extra protection up front on the vehicle as well with the two diode heads up front. For testing purposes temporarily I am wanting to mount all 4 up front and then later split it and do some more testing on the unit. Reason why: we want to see the side effects of running a diode based jammer (Lpp) and led based jammer (laser mask) to note if there is any problems with them both running at the same time together....want to do one test with just the laser pro park and one test with just the laser mask running...im curious if I will be able to get a reading on a 4 head unit running up front on this smaller vehicle as the 4 head unit is designed for larger vehicles. Also I would like to do a test showing two laser guns both shooting the car and see if both units can still give a jam since there is two "cpu's" to process each gun. I am hoping for optimal performance though splitting the unit with 2 laser pro parks up front and 2 laser mask up front, with two laser mask in the back will be the ideal situation.

I always get hit from the front in Houston....so I would like just to have very minimum protection in the rear and see what kind of readings my vehicle will show with just two of those units in the rear.

Looking over another possible setup for testing purposes.. as to me for laser jamming of the gun...a major part of jamming the gun is about head placement to me and making sure it is pointing straight and leveled...... assuming their is no side effect from running two laser jammer systems together.... mount the laser pro park both dual sensors closer to the front of the license plate, then install two laser mask on the lower bumper in front of the fog lights (fog lights dont work anymore ), then the other laser mask head above the license plate where toyota symbol is at (will remove symbol), and then another head in the air scoop (no hot air inside the hood scoop)....this would cover the vehicle completly....this might be a great ideal setup. Again this would be a test I would do just for another situation to see about any punch throughs on the gun....with many runs and testing and tuning the vehicle...will be able to find the ideal setup...just thinking out loud.

^ All very valid reasons - and should make for great testing!

I definitely think that the hood-scoop as well as the below-emblem placement is a good thought. That should further reinforce center-mass and your greenhouse.

I'm almost inclined to place the other two heads as far away from your LPP heads as possible (as I'd imagine that the LPPs would give nearly bulletproof center-mass coverage, as-is, which will then be supplemented by the LM heads) , over by the fog-lamps (and thus also give them, plus your headlights, to an extent, "point-protection").

only one thing i would be worried about here is that IMO, most likely both the LPP and the laser mask would see the same gun first and both be jamming that one instead of taking one each like i think youre hoping for so i dont know if that would work TBH

Allright here our the install pictures. I wasnt sure where I wanted the LPP, after installing the Laser Mask all around on the car I finally found a spot. I am now going to put the laser pro park right next to the license plate, one on each side....will put 6 laser jammers on the front of this vehicle...should be good to go

The one on the bottom you see under the plate laying on the bottom bumper...I am sure some will scratch their head. With the great coverage I will have of the LPP in the middle I am going to have this laser jammer pointed more upwards in direction...reason why...overpass shots. I would like it to point at the angle that a cop will be shooting at if I am struck from an overpass. The thing I loved about the Laser mask is the brackets are ADJUSTABLE, once you screw the brackets down they have pins on each side that allow you to move the laser jammer which ever direction that you need to be, also it helped with leveling the laser jammer to find that perfect spot. From just having the install done I love how the Laser mask has a 4 head control panel...hince the 4 laser jammer heads. Also I found out that the laser mask has 5 cpu's in it, which will help if I am hit with multiple laser guns at once.

Only negative part I saw about the Laser Mask was their was no kill switch on the laser jammer, however I will get some more pictures, I installed a custom kill switch in my car to kill it...very cheap and easy to install. Also by allowing for me to kill it when I do testing I will be able to see the laser pro park by itself and the laser mask running by itself.

we didnt install it on the hood scoop, the hood was hot, and from running the wire through the non functional air scoop we were afraid of it overheating the laser jammer....so went the other route.
