Looking for a course that will be 2-3 miles long as we will have the stalker ka radar gun out there, needs a place where alot of people can park at and not block the roadway in anyway, also I was hoping to have a course where we could do some incline laser shots at the vehicle say from an overpass.....
Except for the overpass, an ideal spot would be at the TAMU car club's autocross site located at the old military air base that's just west of Bryan/College Station. There's also MSR (Motor Sports Ranch) near Alvin, but they don't have the 2 plus mile straights. A building roof might substitute for the overpass there though.

I can get you contact names if you're interested in either place.

I guess we're all looking for a place close to downtown Houston if possible. Last time we did around the Humble area with 3 miles of straight road.

Right looking for a place say as far north as Humble, as far west as katy, as far south as sugarland....just trying to find something central to Houston as we have alot of people coming from dallas, couple from san antonio, sugarland, houston all around....would like to have it central as possible in Houston.

Are there any places around the airport? When I went to see Radiohead I accidently charged up 59N instead of 45N. Ended up crossing over on a short highway that had some nice straights.

I know alot of places around the airport & Humble, as long as everyone is ok with being up that north in Houston....say a 20 minute drive north of Houston on 59 North.

Awww, I like Fritter. He's legitimately a nice guy. Even his radar-in-the-mirror thing turned out to be true. PM him and ask him if he wants to come.

I'd say let it be where we met up last time. I'd doubt ppl mind driving since it's once in while.

Allright we are going to have it in the same place as last time located at:

20102 Townsen Blvd
Humble, TX 77338

This is Northeast of Houston located in Humble, TX.... which is about a 20 minute drive NE of downtown Houston. This will be held at the business "Presidential Auto Glass."

The road is great for testing, on one side of the road it offers a sharp curve and then straightens out for about 1/2 mile.

Then on the other direction you have .7 mile straightaway for doing a constant shot at the vehicle with the laser jammer.

Also we will have the stalker Ka radar gun and vehicles can drive over 1960 and come back to the testing site to offer around a 3 mile shot of Ka to test out your radar detector as well.

This is being held on September 28th at 1 PM. There is a huge parking lot across the testing site for additonal parking if needed. The current testing site should accomodate around 30 cars.

For those that havent been to the site its very quiet out there and great for testing, as traffic is very minimum out there.

Speed limit I believe is 40 mph on this road. Any reckless driving at this event will not be tolerated and will be asked to leave.

Should be a great day of fun and learning, hope to see everyone there!
