Default Laser Pro Park, knock off version laser jammers ?

Is it just me or does it seem like the past 6 months or less there has been ALOT of laser jammers coming out that look exactly like the laser pro park, but just have changed the bracket name and put a sticker on the original head of an LPP.....

Check out this one jammer I found online:
AutoViewer

Looks very...very...familiar

I wish someone had all three of these head units and could open them up...curious to see what the design inside the diode head looks like??

The Laser Defender actually co-dates with the LPP, if not pre-dates.

It's among those copies of the AntiLaser (of which the LPP is also "rumored" - to which extent you will have to sort through, yourself, and see who you believe, as well as what the evidence consists of) that, unlike the LPP, didn't pan out.

The RD.net "Laser Jammers" section is a good place to sift through all of this in a historical manner - you can see where some of the rival factions erupted, as well as the initial "outings" of various con-men. It makes for an interesting read, if you've got a few hours to spend with a few cups of good coffee and some snacks. It's well worth the read, as it will help you "'bone-up" on the whos and whys.

With the LaserStar as well as the PASS, it's been hinted by some in the community that the designs of the AntiLaser/LPP (even "up to current" firmware) have been sold - either openly or Sub-Rosa.

^ Indeed, I did not mean to make it sound like the Defender was a LPP knock-off, thank you for that correction.

Stickers are cheap to print up

Actually I will be doing this later this year, although I think they are all the same unit that's just being re-branded.
