Default Laser Park Pro Jammer - setup help needed

Hello everybody,
Just got my first laser jammer - Laser Park Pro dual head and am going to put both heads in the front. What setup would you recommend for BMW 135i (see pic.)?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, I'm completely lost now...

I belive people have mounted them vertically in the slits in either kidney grill with success.

That would be my recommendation......great car btw!

I'd go for the lower center grill, off to each side of the front plate mount, getting the jammer heads as far towards each outer corner as possible, while still making sure that they're pointed straight-and-level in all senses (IIRC, current-model BMW's have a slight downturn in the bumper skin in that area, nearing the outer corners of the central lower grill/air-intake cut-out).

If you're legally required to run a front plate, and you wish to bias center-mass/plate protection, you could bias placement of the jammer heads closer towards the plate than each outer corner. However, be aware that too close to the plate (even if it is "flush" against the most forward surface plane) will effectively "chop off" view of an incoming laser beam from extreme angles on the off-side, as well as will compromise, somewhat, the ability of each head to detect incoming LIDAR at the far reaches of your headlamps' corners and also your external rearview mirrors.

No matter in each case, I would insure that the receiver side of the head is positioned outboard.

Mount them in the lower part of the bumper just below each headlight. Your bumper has a center hole and two holes...one on each side. You would mount it on each side of the hold right below the headlight. Make sure the head is pointing straight, is level, and flush with the body as well. This should help protect your car from total jamming where no laser will be able to get a reading no matter how close you are to them.

I did a test on my toyota celica and had dual head up front...I had yet to ever been shot from the rear so moved both heads up front for the best protection. We tested it against the pro laser 3 and the lti ultralyte and both of them couldnt get a reading no matter how close we were, we noticed that if you went to just one head up front after about 200 feet-300 feet you would be able to punch through (Get a reading) with just one head up front...so I dont believe when some people say two heads up front our overkill....I think it is just right.

Also the laser pro park is a diode head which is so much better then a led based jammer head such as the escort passport 9500ci that just came out. Diode heads are more expensive but better in total overall performance. Also where I live in Houston area cops use laser all the time... most of the shots against me are 500 feet or less as when you come over a hill you cant see...bam there they are shooting you....this is why I choose a diode head like the laser pro park dual head up front.

If you can remove the license plate on your car on the front the more the better, cops 90% of the time will shoot at your front plate or one of your headlights..... farther away they shoot...easier to jam as the beam is alot wider....the closer you are to them when they shoot for the first time...harder for a radar or jammer to receive signal since the beam is way alot smaller....however I have yet to seen the laser pro park miss an alert even when being shot at 200 feet or less for the first time.

Good radar detector would be the valentine one radar detector mounted up high by your rear view mirror for radar detection...better chance of picking up radar scatter....you already have the laser protection...now go the best protection for radar the valentine one mounted high!

Also if you were going to remove the license plate you might consider if they make a black non-chrome finish for the chrome grill you have on the front of your car....remember the less reflective materials on your car....license plate...headlights...anything chrome...the less likely a laser gun will get your reading....lots of chrome= bad

Thank you a lot for the help!

Unfortunately I'm required to have a front license plate...

And I do have Valentine 1 for many years, it saved me many times on my SLK32AMG (which I drove before this BMW)... But they got with a lidar 2 times

I guess I have to choose between front grill and lower bumper... Will lower bumper setup (side holes) provide enough cover for my license plate?

Thank you again!

Yes but when you mount it, mount in in the farthest corner closest to the license plate in the lower bumper...this would be the two individual holes you have in the lower bumper not the center hole in the lower bumper like you stated, this will provide excellent coverage of both your license plate and both headlights with the dual head setup..... and if you want to go ALL out that chrome grill on the front you might want to reconsider....if your looking for total jamming of the gun at all feets no matter how close.

Thank you. Probably this is a stupid question but how should I level the heads in this setup if I can't put that "red veil" provided by Laser Park Pro on them?

not understanding the question...the kit should have come with a little level kit that you put on top of the head when you have it where you want it at, then once it is leveled start to tighten the head in that spot while still keeping it leveled.
