Sorry... I sincerely apologize for now.

There is just so much jammer FUD out there I don't know what to think sometimes.

OvenCleaner...the ordeal with LI is the same reason I did not go with it because I gave it some thought then ran into Ronin. I dont care about the politics of this jammer stuff but only care if it works like the laser star....it does very well.

I thinks it funny how I was banned at radardetector.net after that site was mentioned to me and I became a member just like here. I am my own person and no one else or whoever they thought I was.

Lets stop this bashing enjoy what we have...If something works for you great...if it does not...well find something that does and stick with it.

Will the LaserStar prove itself to be a competitive performer?

I truly think that it will.

However, the entire problem with it rests, currently, IMveryHO, in the way the hobbyist community perceives its "other" qualities.

It's principle has a bad name in the community that was not easily "earned."

Similarly, its North-American marketing team carries that very same negative association in the community.

If LaserStar is to succeed, I honestly feel that it needs to outgrow these associations - and the only way to do so would be first for its marketing team to no longer utilize the same "spamming" techniques that it's so fond of, as well as to stop the negative-advertising against other jammers, and furthermore, to secondly, via the principle/mother-company, to insure that its customers needs are properly addressed, in terms of any warranty claims in the coming months/years.

These negative associations weren't just "slapped on" to the LaserStar. These individuals' reputations in the community was "earned" through some rather distasteful events.

The product, itself, in this case, needs to rise-above - and the individuals concerned also need to work hard to re-establish their status in the community; earning back lost faith is a very hard thing to do.
