agreed, racer x has great customer service...but its the people he gets them from that may be the downfall!

The level of their customer service is just superb, and so outshines everything in the industry that it's beyond doubt that it's a big selling point.

As long as they can deliver a solid product, they'll sell, simply because the spectre of potential long-term issues is banished by their word-of-honor.
If only that were true. The fact is it's not because this is NOT being endorsed or sold by Cheetah. I repeat... this is NOT a Cheetah product.

I've heard this directly from Cheetah in the UK. They are not behind this.

Buyer beware.

Ask them yourself if you don't believe me.

^ Most interesting indeed. I'll definitely have to give allyoops an e-mail about this detail.

Now that you've mentioned it, I do remember that among the initial flurry of exchanges over this product, RacerX did say that the P.A.S.S. was a North-American market exclusive, at least for the time-being.....

^ Not unlikely, I guess, given the physical proximity. However, that's a big "who knows," for me, an industry outsider.

RN ->

It definitely looks like the P.A.S.S. is a North-American product, solely.

It is being officially billed as a part of the Cheetah USA lineup, so in that respect, it does enjoy Cheetah's technical as well as customer support - if only with the limitation that it is a branch of Cheetah's global divisions, and not the mother company itself.

With RacerX stacked behind it, and the billing of being a Cheetah USA product, though, the "Cheetah name" will still carry plenty of clout. And as long as RacerX serves his customers right, I still believe that the winning point of this particular jammer will be just that.

So now you can actually buy a dual head jammer that works for $600... and quad for $800?

Laser Star lost the ONLY appeal it had.

You can't get a better detector for the money. Bash me all you want, but you know its true. I spent $130 and got MORE than I paid for. Any other Pro 78 detector owners reading this that care to chip in?

No radar tickets yet, driving with TX DPS using 34.7 Ka IO all day. I drive about 90 in PSL 65. Done this for half a year....

laserstarusa.com says $600 for a dual head. Or are my eyes deceiving me?

I don't buy the biggest and badest, I buy the best for what money I have. Money isn't everything you know...

I love how when the shoe is on the other foot you *OvenCleaner* goes into defensive mood....

Remember you are the one who started bashing the laser star.

I just defended it and threw a few jab's at your $100 radar detector and your car and you could not take it. My point was to do what you just did and you did exactly what I wanted.

The laser star works and I would not have spent $600 to get it installed on my bmw if it did not work....so get over it.
