Default New Members laser jammer install on my BMW

Whats up everyone....I was told about this site from Ronin because he told me about his laser jammer while we were talking about our rides at the car wash. Well I pulled the trigger and ordered a laser star and here is the install. I also have a V1. Also I have been lasered 9 times from the front and rear and they were all saves. I also had a '97 Bmw M3(2 tickets with a Blinder and 1 ticket ZR3 at different times they dont even compare to what this system can and has done for me. I am also picking up a lotus elise and will be installing a laser star at the dealer before I even put the keys in the ignition.

Welcome onboard! Very nice install, I like how stealth it seems to be...I am assuming the Valentine one radar detector is mounted high by the mirror?

Did you do the install yourself...if so thumbs up!

Off topic, but any details on your back-up camera model and install or is it OEM?

In his signature it shows "Alpine DD Navigation w/rear camera" I am guessing that is an add on accessory to his Alpine head unit.... I dont think that comes standard OEM from the manufacturer on that vehicle...then again how expensive that vehicle cost...maybe ... very very nice ride

Ronin...this is jason.

My Alpine Navi w/back up camera and the laser star was installed at a local well known car audio place called Car Toys.

The back up camera is is tied into the 40 Gig HD that is built into the navi system. I'm actually going to get a front stealth camera and rear camera to start filming when I get lasered. I have my install friend working on a way to make that happen.

Its going to take some time but it will get done, plus I will also have the rear head installed to be more stealthy but it does work because I have had 3 rear laser saves when I was targeted while I was exceding the speed limit when the cop was on a onramp and overpass. I'm glad I had it really tested and I was scared sh*tless when I was first hit with laser by a cop for the first time and that totally made me a believer of this new laser star system and I love the parking sensor because I can pick up cars about 15 feet away.

RE: Jammer setup ->

Very nice.

Instead of pursuing more "stealth" with the installs, I'd instead pursue, first, beefing-up to a quad-head (two each end of the vehicle) setup, and *then* finding a permanent place for everything to go.

This way, you'd only have to "cut once."

Did Blinder pay for your 2 laser tickets???? Or were you going more than 20% over the limit when caught?
