Connecticut state troops acquire 89 new TruSpeed laser guns that they will start using around the state....wouldnt be surprised to see other states to start following this if they see a HUGE improvement by them using them:

ouch....I am still waiting to see the pulse rate of this laser gun... what kind of laser jammer do you have?

I'd wait until the next round of Central FL tests, before deciding fully on a jammer to purchase, to ward-off the TruSpeed.

Currently, no-one except the LI team has had any direct experience with this device, and it will be interesting to see what both the 7.04 and 7.05 (TruSpeed enabled) boxes can do versus this new device.

Although there have been speculation from representatives of other jammer makers that the TruSpeed is "nothing special," as an independent hobbyist, I truly do *NOT* believe that this is going to be the case. Even the publically disclosed technical specifications of the TruSpeed shows differences between this new device and LTI's traditional lineup. This, combined with various hints that the LI team keeps dropping - i.e. that this gun operates in the KHz range as well as the fact that it does not trip either the traditional LTI's 100 or 125 PPS jamming algorithms (and instead forces the 7.04 and previous control-box LI to identify it as an "unknown gun") all suggests that there's more to the TruSpeed than meets the eye.

I'd at least wait-out the CFL testing, before doing anything with the jammer purchase.

But if you feel like you *must* act now, I'd say that the LI is the best bet, with their promised 7.05 TruSpeed-enabled revision, as a just-over-the-horizon (i.e. not yet, for the time being, available, but it should be any day now) purchase.
