Default Purchased an old Bel Laser Alert LR from 1992

I just purchased an older Bel Laser Alert LR made in 1992. Pretty small unit for laser but quite effective in detecting it. Nice to fool around w/ this old technology.

Not all that great at posting pics, but when I eventually get better, it should be on here.

Default it

It came as a package w/ the Bel 956W superwideband rd for around $30 plus shipping. What makes it unique is the Bel says it detects 34.2 and 35.2 ka band, not 33.8. Checked it out w/ Alpine yesterday on 34.7 ka band and the ka band sweep seemed a little quicker. More testing to come on this one.

Not sure,but isn't 34.2GHz US photo-radar frequency?
Maybe that's the reason why Bel956W covers this freq.
Is Bel956 a remote installation RD,like the old mid 90'-es Bel996ST or W?

Too good. I also have one of these. Used to have it velcro'd under my Bel966W. Never did see it alert back then. It does false quite easily to noise in the power supply.

Default think

I think it's the 152 Dave. Yes, it's a stand alone laser detector unit.
