Default Most recent firmware for 9500i

Hey. I just bought the 9500i Red. How do I know it has the most recent firmware? And where on Escort site does it list downloads, etc? I registered the rd moments ago but can't find a place on their site to check firmware.

Thanks.

What is the last 4 digits of your serial number on the bottom?

If it is 4307 or anything 43 _ _ then I believe you have the latest firmware out

If your 9500i has a 4007 or above build date you are good to go. As far as downloads there aren’t any yet. You need to register with Escort and they will notify you if there are any.
At the end of August/September Escort is allowing 9500I's to be upgraded to ix's for a fee.

My last 4 digits are 4907 so I'll assume I'm good to go... thanks for the info!

I'm assuming they'll email me to let me know when I can upgrade?

They should, i would give them a call the end of August. Our best guess is the upgrade for around $100.
