what does the term " ramp up " meaN, I AM NEW HERE

S7 Rev5 was a particular revision X50 that some think was superior to all others, and its not made anymore.
Personally the newest X50's are as good as the old Rev5's and better at filtering falses.

Ramp up is how the detector alerts audibly, the alert gradually gets stronger as you get closer to the source. The new X50's have what i call an active ramp up.

Well, I sold mine pretty quick... I wasnt able to "free" post it in the classifieds here so I put it up on the Hull Truth's forum and I sold the X-50 in less than 45 minutes... ($200 clams) (Rev 5).

I dont know... It didnt seem as good as my unleaded 8500
never had any service needed or anything.. but my Rev 15 seem'd a little stronger and better warning -- no regrets sellin the x-50

I guess you could try looking at Ebay or Graig's list... as the current owner to check the rev #

Either way... My V1 still out does any Passport.....

Think I will pop over the V1 forum and say, My escort still will out perform any V1,, see how that goes over. I was a proud V1 owner for a few weeks. Of course sold that noisy piece of crap on Ebay.
