Default Proof the Escort Passport 8500 X50 Is NOT VG-2 Proof

Yep, tested it tonight, long range tests this weekend, it even says on the box it is VG-2 proof.

yea... I will wait for the long range tests, wouldn't even a sti set it off from that far away? I thought the whole point was that it couldn't be detected from one car to another, which is the closest they would ever get in real use.

X2, if the LEO is that close to the RD i think he would see it 1st.

now lets wait for the Videos showing he picks up the X50, but he neglects telling you a cobra is plugged in under the seat.

LOL, if the cobra was on under the seat then you would detect it from 2 miles away..

No suck tactics will be used on our tests m8 i assure you that.

You should see how the X50 and 9500i goes when the spectre is on...man it lights the spectre up like new years ever crackers!!!!

ya spectre sucks, I bet the STI is not completely immune to it, especially siting on top of the spectre unit.
V1 better do a spectre proof unit soon because i drive through VA a few times a year and i wont own any outher RD but a V1 and a 9500I.

Since VA is only a couple hour drive north... I'm not too worried about the VG2 stuff... I still run whatever detector I have when driving thru VA. If I see the fuzz.. I just turn it off or unplug it until I dont see the fuzz any more. Then simply plug it back in and keep going.

We used to go to Lake Anna just NW of Richmond taking I95 most of the way and never had an issue or got pulled for having a detector. I dont leave it out in plain sight either..

I'm not too worried about VG2...
