Default CT & Ridgefield/Stamford area.

I have had RD's in CT for 7 years now and only got 1 laser in the Stamford area. Danbury, Ridgefield, Westport area i have only goten K & KA. What would make sense to me is Laser is used almost exclusively on the highways and most of the towns use KA. Laser is useless on the windy back roads of CT.
I don’t have the full details in Stamford CT but they do run KA and laser on High Ridge rd (137). In NY between Ridgefield and Stamford from RT35 and 124/137 the LEO's & State Troopers run KA and K most run C/O.

There are 2-3 Leo’s in Ridgefield with KA one is a I/O guy (don’t like him) and the others drive around all day with C/O. one of them always sits at the shell gas station in town waiting for red light runners.

Northern and eastern CT troopers almost exclusively laser. You might see one with K or Ka once a year. AFAIK, they use Stalker LZ1s and LTi Ultalytes. Some town cops have PL3s.

The CT troopers in eastern CT on I84 were out in a black Charger, unmarked crown vic, and unmarked Impala. The Charger was hiding behind a bridge support on the right side of the road with just his nose and drivers door barely visible. He was using a Stalker LZ1. The crown vic that I saw later was also using the LZ1 and the Implala looked as if he was a chase car. Both were easily visible in the grass perpendicular to the road right next to each other. Both windows down in both cars.

Got hit with Laser in Ridgefield CT on a back road. They may be using laser more frequently now.
