Default easy

Easy, they think if Walmart or other stores carry them, they must be great rd's. Unfortunately, they don't read up on them.

One of my neighbors has a cobra radar detector that is mounted to their dash and it is pointing to the far left, almost at there drivers window....

I left them a random note telling them the best spot is on the middle of the windshield pointing straight! Also I left them a note to research there radar detector on the internet....they are better off to throw it in the trash

I wanted to put this sites name...but figured I might get someone pissed off at me

Cobra purchase must be a bit of an impulse buy. Doing any kind of research on the net you'd see the quality issue

I know many cobra users. They tend to be PSL drivers that got a ticket or two and freaked, ran out to walmart and bought one. Cobras are fine if you just need to avoid the absent minded ticket. A V1 or 9500i would be information overload for these people.

Excellent point.

I would add that many "Consumers" put their faith in the sales associates, and from my experiences, when I am in the USA killing time at Best Buy, Circiut City, etc, (waiting for the wife who is pwr shopping). 90 % of the ppl selling RD's in these stores are totally clueless.

Can't comment on WLMT, I hate WLMT, don't shop there.............

Good start,, but if the garbage man finds it and decides to use it.. then it's back on the road!!!!

should be:

1) Violently smash with a hammer
2) Open garbage can
3) place Cobra in can
4) Close can

That's why it's so hard to find a working much less intact Fox radar these days (if collecting old classics)... owners of Fox XK's would violently throw them things against walls, the floor, run over them..... ha ha hahahah.... yeah, they probably suck'd worse than Rocky Mountain... kinda makes me wonder if them Fox radar guys didnt just change their names.... ha ha hah ah......
